Land Art Photography Competition

In collaboration with Daron Chatz, Anja Wiehl, and Vanessa Van Vreden who are presenting a Land Art Photography Workshop from 14 to 16 August 2013 at Site_Specific's International Land Art Biennale 2013.
DAILY SELECTIONS
The overall winning entry gets one free weekend accommodation for two at the Beacon Island Resort in Plettenberg Bay. Winner to be announced 1 September 2013.

Site_Specific is running a land art photography competition. Anyone can upload their own original photographs of art and activities relating to the Site_Specific International Land Art Biennale on Pinterest using the #LandArtBiennale hashtag.
Please select a few images images along with a short description of who took the image, what it is of, where and when it was taken, and so on. If your entry does not appear on our pin board within two days, please post your image link to our facebook event page.
Daily Favourites
Each day there will be at least two selections: the overall online favourite, and the overall judges' favourite. Judges consist of professional photographers and visual artists attending the event.

Duration
The competition will run for the duration of the event, 10-17 August 2013, and for one week thereafter until all the non-permanent land art installations disintegrate or are removed.
Entries close on Sunday 25 August 2013.

By entering an image into this competition, Site_Specific reserves the right to use these images into perpetuity and throughout the world in any media for promotional, display, and advertising purposes without permission from, or compensation to, the author of the image. At all times the original author of the image will be acknowledged and referenced publicly. Ownership of the image will remain with the author to use as they please in other forums, exhibitions, or circumstances.
Photographic requirements
As a social media platform photographic competition, and as a competition that invites members of the public, as well as professional photographers and artists, to participate, Site_Specific has no requirements as to which software processes are used to enhance the image. All images will be judged on their final merit as displayed online via any of our social media platforms. The overall winning image will be selected by professional photographers where professional photography guidelines may have influence.
Judging criteria
It's a brand new web media world. The photographers and visual artists judging the images on a daily basis will fluctuate, as well as the online public attention each image receives. As such Site_Specific offers no guidelines in this regard.
The decision of the judges is final. No correspondence will be entered into thereafter.
Censorship
Site_Specific reserves the right to remove images it deems inappropriate for the land art forum and social media platform.
